If you can’t quantify it, you can’t manage it. Our firm believes information drives effective planning, but data gathering is often neglected.
Our institutional audits are comprised of the elements of discovery address by planning processes. We understand that mission exists in cycle of growth, decline, retrenchment, renewal. YoungAssociates process provides the raw material for future action.
Our audit has several individual modules, which can be utilized independently or together:
- An organizational audit considering your organization’s mission, its history and relevance, as well as an overview of your programming and services, leadership, and finances;
- A constituency development audit to evaluate member groups, donors, board of directors and other volunteer leadership;
- A revenue generation audit to assess earned income and fundraising;
- A marketing audit of your organization’s programs and services; and
- A communication audit evaluating who your organization reaches and the communication vehicles used to do so.
As part of our green technology resolutions for 2009, we’ve implemented many changes to reduce paper use, including creating an e-form version of each audit document, which can now be shared via e-mail and filled out electronically rather than printing.
